ulfaThe ladder has for me been a very useful training tool. I have used it in many different ways and with different intentions. The exercises are so many and the ladder can be one part in a sequence of exercises that make the player to be on his/hers toes for a longer period.

1. I use The Ladder to present and work with different type of coordination training and the players work...

with the whole body and concentrating on body position which will help them in technique training of running, start and stop and direction changes. For me this has been very useful because I can see the players getting a whole different body position and it gives them an advantage also when going one on one in defense and attack.

2. I use The Ladder when warming up and to get the player in the best concentration for technique training. I feel that this exercise helps them to focus on the pure technique after they have done the ladder exercise.

3. The Ladder exercises together with handball and heavy ball will get the players in position to be training body stability and how to get the body compact and strong when defending or making a brake trough.

4. I use The Ladder in group exercises when the intention is to get them jumping or have focus on speed training. The whole idea for me is to get players with best body position in all these techniques because I know that this will give us a advantage.

5. I use The ladder for injure prevention of lower body, feet, knee, hips, groin
