Coordination ladder is sports equipment that helps improve handball player's footwork. It's unique measures are designed so that handball players train handball specific movements which are determined with the 3 steps rule since the ladder has 3 squares in width and 20 squares in length. It's length requires great level of concentration as is performed in 20 consecutive ground contact actions and players prosper the most with this kind of movement.
With correct excercise selection, volume and intensity improvement is seen as:
• Better foot coordination (precision, agility),
• Higher stride frequency (maximal limb frequency),
• Knee, ankle and hip-joint stability (co-activation agonist-antagonist),
• Correct contact technique during running,
• Injury prevention,
• Later easier and faster learning of sport-specific movements and feints.
